A soft, buttery star-shaped Italian Christmas bread made with one simplified dough in a single day.
Pandoro was patented in Verona in 1894 by the baker Domenico Melegatti and became, with panettone, Italy's Christmas bread.
The name: Pandoro means 'golden bread', for its rich yellow crumb.
